I've just got to share the good stuff I read.

I love to read. I read every chance I get. If I read something really good, I want to share it with my friends and co-workers. I make copies of magazine articles, read aloud to my students, tell others about good books I'm reading, and keep a book with me at all times.

I love teaching and learning new things. I need a place to share some of the lessons and what my students and I learn. Since my teaching situation is different from everyone else's in my school, I would like to tell all of you in the blog-o-sphere about these great lessons.

November Books

I have read mostly book club books this month.

The Book to Screen group read the book below.
I really enjoyed the book. The movie was not as satisfying. 
The changes made by the movie makers did not show the whole journey of the main character.


The two books below were my choices after finishing the book club selections.
The John Grisham was a surprise because it was 3 novellas. Okay, but not what I had in mind.


The book below was such a surprise.
When I read the blurb, I was sure I would not like the book.
Definitely liked this and recommended it to friends.


Last book club selection.
Germantown UMC book club for November.
I had no idea what this book was about.
Short summary - back story of Doctor Zhivago.
I didn't know anything about that book and now I am thinking about reading Dr. Z.
